Rainey and her littermate Rosa 18-102 are 8-week-old pure bred female Golden Retriever puppies. They were found under a trailer with their underweight nursing mom a week ago.
Rainey is happy and easy-going; you’d never know she was homeless. She is spayed, current on vaccines and preventatives, and she has been wormed. She is a healthy, happy puppy.
Rainey here! Boy oh boy, I’m having the best time here in my foster home! I’m learning lots of big girl things like how to go potty outside, and my foster mom is starting to teach us to “sit” for a treat and how to chase after a ball and bring it back to her.
I LOVE water and will stand with my two front paws in the water bowl. Foster Mom got the hint and put some water in a small kiddy pool. That is so much fun! The other day I jumped out and did zoomies around the yard I was so happy.
My sister is my best friend and I love to play with her. We chase each other around and play bitey face. I’m pretty low-key though and like just hanging out, too.
I love to chew: the leg of the couch, sticks, Foster Mom’s shoelaces, and she has lots of stuffed toys and bones. If I am chewing on something naughty she sticks something else in front of me, and I just start chewing on that. Foster Mom says I’m a really mellow, laid-back puppy.
If you have time to work with me and introduce me to lots of people and other dogs, I’ll be your best friend. I can’t wait to find my very own forever home.
