Remington Oso is a handsome, neutered male four-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. He is friendly and quiet, except when someone comes to the door and then he will bark. Remy goes with the flow and gets along with kids, cats, and other dogs. He is fine with free roam in the house.
He currently suffers from allergies in his eyes, which is why they look swollen, dark, and itchy in the photos, but has been prescribed a one-week medicated ointment, which we hope will clear things up. He is overweight at 90 pounds and not real thrilled about going for walks; the vet strongly suspects hypothyroidism which can easily be controlled through medication. The test results will be back in about a week.
His mom has loved him up since she was a puppy, but has become seriously ill and had no choice but to find Remington Oso another home. She knew RAGOM would take good care of Remy and find him a perfect new forever family.
A second purebred Golden Retriever, Daisy Mae 14-236 , also lived with Remington Oso and his family, and is available for adoption as well. These two could be adopted together or separately to different families, as they get along well, but are not dependent on each other.
