Sam 12-140 joined our family in May 2012, on Saturday, 6/20/15, he crossed the rainbow bridge. Cancer was eating him away and although he looked good, his pain was evident with every movement. He was a majestic boy who learned to be a family dog i.e. sit on couches (he had 3), lie on beds, sit at the table, etc. instead of hovering in the corner of the house when he first arrived. When he joined our family, he was "an apartment dog from MPLS", we thought he had vision and hearing deficits as he didn't respond to squirrels, bunnies, birds, etc. It took about 3 weeks before he "saw" his new world - and it never stopped from there! He loved the lake home, exploring the woods, the lake the island... he is missed so greatly. RAGOM is such a wonderful organization, we can never thank you enough for bringing Sam into our family. |
