Savannah made her way to her forever home on Sunday. She will be spending her days with her mom, dad, and sisters. I've been told she has a very, very big job ahead of her. That job is keeping the bunnies out of the Garden.

Greetings from Grand Forks,
I know we haven't written in a bit, but my foster mom has had some very exciting things happening in her life. She retired, started new employment, went on a cruise, and has been very busy. In between all of that my foster brother came home from Boston to visit, and now thank goodness he is home for good. I missed him so much.
Foster Mom and I babysit with a 12-year-old Golden named Dexter—his daddy works nights and Dexter likes to stay with us so he isn't alone. Dexter is a good companion for me. We watch TV, sleep, eat, and sometimes when we go outside I like to initiate a game I call “Catch me, catch me!”
I run zoomies around Dexter and he thinks I'm really funny. Other times he follows me around the backyard and potties on everything I sniff. He doesn't like to hunt in the backyard, but I do. I would think a man of his age would like to hunt but NO.
So I do the hunting. So far this year I've managed to catch two bunnies and the third one was a couple steps ahead of me when all of a sudden I heard “Vanna… Vanna… Vanna you get in here right now!” That was Foster Mom calling me in for supper. I wanted to hunt… what's a girl to do?
Other than the usual sleeping, eating, and hunting I haven't done much. Oh, Foster Mom took Dexter and me to meet Santa at Treat Play Love on Saturday. I just went for the treats. To be honest, that guy in the red suit scared the dickens out of me. Of course, Dexter sat and posed.
Then that night we babysat with a 3-month-old Golden Retriever. Her name is Penny and she was very naughty. She pawed, barked, and snapped at me. I was terrified of her. If you have a puppy in your house, I wouldn't be a good fit. I like older companions like Dexter.
Enjoy the pictures of me with Santa and with my foster brother when he came home.

Greetings from Grand Forks, North Dakota! Savannah here (AKA Vanna or Little Girl ) checking in. I like all of my names, but I usually don't answer to any of them unless it's my idea.
I've had a few exciting weeks. My foster mom was gone, and my foster brother took care of me and Jerzey 17-018. He was swell to babysit us. We got lots of treats, and his friends came over to visit.
One of his friends was petting me, and all of a sudden I got scared (I think it was the facial hair). So I ran away and hid in the shower. I don't know why everybody thinks that's so funny, but I've been teased about it. That same friend was over last week, and I let him pet me and hold me and now we are best friends.
I caught another bunny, and the other day I witnessed a bunny run under the fence and guess what? There was just enough room for me to squeeze under, too, so I went after it. Boy oh boy, my foster mom was not happy with me.
She fixed that area of the fence, and now it's like Fort Knox. I feel like I'm in a prison. Well, actually I have a huge yard to play in, but I just wanted to catch the bunny. No fun!
Last night I was playing fetch until Jerzey started getting the ball and taking all the fuzz off of it, and he wouldn't share. I wasn't happy about that. It was my ball, and I was playing with my foster brother.
I was so tired after our game of fetch and protecting the yard from the bunnies, that I put myself to bed last night. I was tired of watching Shameless on Netflix.
Well, that's all I have for now folks. I'm available and happy! If you are interested in me, please let RAGOM know.
Later!
Vanna

Greetings from Grand Forks, North Dakota! My name is Savannah, and I'm a 21-pound bundle of pure joy. I'm a Golden Retriever and Mini Pincher mix. I'm small and short but I have the softest fur ever, and you will like me!
I like to chase bunnies—on the second day in my foster home I caught a rabbit and brought it to my foster mom and brother, and they were so surprised.
When I'm hunting I don't like to be bothered with things like coming inside or listening. I just want to hunt, so a physical fence is a good idea for my yard. I like to chase birds, too, but can't seem to get to the sky to catch them.
I get along fine with my foster brother Jersey 17-018. He's 7 years old and likes to play, but I won't play unless it's my idea. So I will run circles around him outside until he chases me. It's the funnest activity known to dogs.
I protect my foster mom from strangers by barking. I bet I'm one scary pup. Other than that I'm a good girl. I do counter surf and took a whole enormous bag of chips off the kitchen table, pulled them down to the floor, and ripped the bag open to have a snack one day.
I sometimes have separation anxiety and I will potty on the floor, but my foster mom puts lavender oil on my ears and that makes everything better (and I smell really good, too).
I like to sit in foster mom's chair when she's at work, but when she's home she lets me lay on her lap and sleep. It's cozy. I sleep on the bed, but I don't take up much room. I love car rides and treats, but forget it if you think I'm going to sit or do a trick for that treat. Hey, I'm a princess. And I like to be close at all times.
I'm not around children or cats in my foster home, so we're not sure yet how I react to kids or kittens. But I do like other dogs.
Ta-ta for now!
