Stella got adopted to a nice family with another Goldendoodle. Unfortunately, the husband could not handle 2 Goldendoodles with his allergies. Stella is now back in our care and doing great. We have gone camping again and she does great; she doesn't seem to slow down.

We received the blood tests back on Stella and all is well, but she liver counts are a little high, so she will be tested again in a few weeks. We took her with us to another short camping trip last weekend. I'm just amazed at how she is so eager to do any and everything we do. If she were a girl scout, she would have earned all her outdoor badges. She seems to be a nature lover. Check out her photos from camping.

Stella and I are waiting for her blood tests from her little stomach issue a week ago. She is feeling good and is waiting for this weekend to go camping now that she is feeling much better.

Stella and her foster family traveled to Beaver Creek Valley State Park last weekend and we discovered Stella loves to try to catch chipmunks. (My poor arm the first time she noticed one; good thing my natural instincts were to hang on to the leash.) Stella swam in clear, cool streams and got worn out by the time we left on Monday. This Friday morning, I was woken by Stella's barking and went to see what was up and discovered she was throwing up. What the heck, she was fine in the evening. After being sick until about 8:00 am, I called the vet and got her in for a visit at 10:30. Then at about 6:00 pm, I had to take her to the emergency clinic in Oakdale. Left her there at 8:30 and hope to pick her up on Saturday night. One thing everyone said today was what a good-natured dog she was and everyone that meets her loves her. I think Stella has a positive attribute no matter what her situation is.

We discovered Stella loves camping. Resident dog, Stella, Husband and I went to a state park last weekend and had a good time, even with the rain. Stella is a true tracker. It was fun walking her through the park. We found out she also likes the water, but we didn't let her go in too far because of one of her small lumps was healing up. We think she scratched it last week on something. I can't believe how she loves being outside and wants to go for a car drive at the drop of a hat.

Stella has brought so much joy and smiles into our home. It seems she enjoys life so much. She loves the outdoors, the park, the yard, and wants to go riding in the car now every time we pick up our keys. We traveled to Wisconsin to visit friends that adopted a foster dog from us 2 years ago and she did great. She still likes to grrrr every so often, but who doesn't. We have a big unfenced backyard and walk the dogs down our path off-leash, and Stella explores and always cames back to us when called. This is why I love fostering. Thank you, RAGOM, for the opportunity.

Stella and I have been very busy. We didn't have time to post last week. I gave my dog a much needed bath last week and then thought, "Why not try Miss Stella?" Mind you, I have a bad back and one dog bath a day can be trying. Oh, my Stella is so easy to wash and she loved it. Stella can now just walk in and out of our park very well; she just needed practice. We continue walking 2.5 miles and she loves it. Stella even enjoys helping babysitting the 9-month-old grandson. Our dog, Windsor, has storm anxiety, but it seems Stella doesn't really have any. Also, another plus is that she doesn't seem to shed too much, if at all. I talked to a couple that has a Goldendoodle and they claim their Goldendoodle doesn't shed. She is also loving being outside watching the world go by.

Sweet Stella accompanied me to 3 Sisters Eclectic Arts this week downtown St. Paul where I sell my pottery and work. The art co-op is dog friendly and I wanted to see how she would do with customers and other dogs. To say the least, she was the queen of the day. She loved all the attention from customers of all ages. (I'd say ages 6 to 70.) She sat in a chair and watched the day go by and encouraged people to buy my pottery. During the week, I had my grandbaby of 9 months over and she also did well. But she did want to play with all the baby toys. She is learning to get into our car and truck by herself pretty well; it just takes her a little wait to figure it out and jumping out of vehicles is no problem. Stella, resident dog Winston and I have been walking about 2 miles every other day. Stella likes walking and walks great on a leash. She will be a great addition to anyone's family.

Stella had great news this week. Her mass the vet removed was a trichoblastomas and they are benign tumors arising from the primitive hair germ epithelium. Stella recovered well from surgery to remove mass. She doesn’t limp anymore. It must have been awful having that 1.5-lb mass hanging in her armpit for so long. Next, we took her for her makeover. Stella is a good looking 64-lb lady. Stella is very sweet, playful, and well-mannered. I took my resident dog and Stella for a walk today and she walks on the leash great and loves riding in the car. She well make family a great dog. She is so easy for care for.
