In addition to LOVE this dog has the following requirements:

This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

Let me introduce Valentino 15-013, a 7-week-old purebred Golden Retriever. Val and his littermates, Woody 15-026 and York 15-027, were part of a litter of nine puppies born to a home breeder in Sioux Falls, SD. Valentino is around 9 lbs. now and will probably grow up to be a big dog. His father, Roscoe, weighs 70 lbs. and Mama was 60 lbs. He has gotten his first puppy shots and will need to be neutered before he can be adopted.

As you can see from his pictures, he is CUTE! He lived with many children and was handled a lot. He is pretty laid-back, but certainly playful and loving. Just what you want in a Golden Retriever pup. For a very young pup, Valentino is good about letting me know when he needs to go out. He will be easy to housetrain with this habit already in place.

If you are looking at this puppy, remember he will need someone who can give him lots of time, exercise, and training to grow up to be a good family or companion dog. And love, of course. Lots of love. Check with your placement advisor to find out more about Valentino.

Valentino has been adopted! He is now named Sullivan, Sully for short. He made the move to Iowa and his new family just loves him! Sully's big dog brother, Finn, is so patient with him and tolerates all of the puppy bites and sharp teeth. He wears Sully out and then they snuggle up together for a nap. Finn has missed having a dog brother and they are quickly bonding. They spend each evening wrestling on the floor and stealing toys from each other.

Sully is in love with his human sister, too! He gets so excited when he sees her at the end of the day and wiggles and moans in happiness. He also loves to hear her play her flute. He follows her around and makes her giggle constantly.

Sully goes to work with me every day and loves meeting new people! He's already working on obedience training and learning to walk nicely on a leash. Puppy class starts in a few weeks! He's a smart boy and already knows "sit," "down," and "kennel." Sully plays hard and then wants to snuggle up on the couch with me. Every night at bedtime, he runs into his kennel in my bedroom, waiting for his bedtime treat.

A special thank-you to Sully's foster mom for fostering Sully and his brothers and for entrusting us with this special little puppy. He has the exact personality that we have been waiting for in our new family member and he's brought us so much joy. We are so incredibly lucky to get to call him ours. He's our third RAGOM boy and I know he'll be as spoiled and loved as our other two! We look forward to watching Sully grow up and I know he'll be a wonderful RAGOM ambassador and foster brother, just like our Finn.

Valentino has met his forever family and will be adopted as soon as he is neutered. He will have a dog brother and a human sister. He fills a big hole left by a RAGOM dog who passed last year. This puppy will be well loved.
