This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog. |
Hello my name is Vickie and I am one of the lucky ones to be busted out of the Missouri Puppy Mill. I have spent my life in a cage reproducing puppies, however just a few weeks ago my world changed dramatically. Right now I am a happy (slightly concerned) girl. I am not sure why all these people live inside the house. Something seems wrong about that to me, I am happiest outside but if you go in I am coming with you. I am still scared of the floors that are not carpeted and very anxious about most things. I will do best if the house is not chaotic and a bit laid back. I have found that there are these items (beds) placed all over the house that are really comfy and I enjoy them A LOT. I run down the hall in the evening to get to the bed before Moose so he cannot take the bed. ☺.

I have not had one accident in the house; I go potty with the other two dogs outside. I will require another dog in my forever home so I can learn how to be a dog. I have a lot to learn on what being a dog is. I will also require a fenced in yard as I could get spooked easily.
Here is a video of Vickie getting use to having freedom to run!
I weigh in at 87 pounds a little on the chunky side, but I should be able to lose my baby weight fairly easily. I am a very healthy girl with a beautiful coat. I am VERY pretty…..at least my FM tells me that all the time.
I eat twice a day with my brother and sister and have just learned to eat when being served my meal I used to have to eat in the dark or when no-one was around. I have not been out for a walk yet FM tried to, but I bolted into the kennel! So we will just keep trying!!!
Foster Mom has a few things to say:
Hi, Foster Mom here; Oh my what do you say about the seriously sweetest girl in the world. She is just the prime example of a Golden heart! She does not guard food or toys or have a mean bone in her body. She has submitted to my bitchy girl dog a few times and she reads doggy language very well. Every once in a while she will almost bust out into play with Moose! It is so wonderful to see the joy in her sweet beautiful face. She really loves my two dogs a lot! She will require one or more dogs for her forever family as she still has so much to learn on how to live her life on the outside of the mill.

Vickie likes to pick up socks and carry them around, sometimes chew on them she will usually just bring them right to you…silly girl. She is not destructive at all, she kennels up with a bit of hesitation but she will do it. She has free roam at night in the bedroom and never leaves her doggie bed. Such a good girl!
She will come to you for love, hugs and kisses especially if Moose and Nellie are by me, then she for sure wants in on getting loved up. Vickie is your typical puppy mill girl, so unsure of all things in life. She has so much to learn about the goodness doggie life has to offer. She will be a treasure for whoever should choose to give her a forever home! You will be the luckiest of all to get her in your family.

PS: she sleeps with her tongue out! It is so cute! We will keep you posted on her progress, let placement know if you are interested in this sweet little peanut!
