Scout 14-092

Profile

In addition to LOVE this dog has the following requirements:
Entered Foster Care Fence Kid Friendly Another Dog Cat Friendly
4/5/2014 Not required Not tested Optional Not tested
This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

Puppy, Puppy!! We have a beautiful little purebred Golden baby, and she is a sweetie. Meet Scout – born mid-January 2014. There isn’t too much that needs to be said. Like most puppies, she is cute and affectionate, playful and fun, and quick to fall asleep in your arms or hanging half off the couch. We are working on housetraining, but it is a work in progress so far. I’m sure it will click pretty soon.

She will be spayed next Wednesday and will be ready to go to her forever family shortly after that. I am sure that there will be a lot of interest in her, so I do want to remind anyone considering adopting a puppy that they are a lot of work the first year. Families that are not home during the day will need a ‘puppy-plan’ to ensure someone is available to let her out frequently enough for her needs. A puppy also needs a family who is committed to socializing and training her. This will not only make her a better family member, but also make her easier to handle when going out and about – enriching both of your lives.

Other than that, she will just need love, which she will return in abundance. If you are interested in adopting Scout, please contact your placement advisor.

Updates

Hello RAGOM,

Just thought I would email you with a long overdue update on Emma, formerly known as Scout, 14-092.  We adopted Emma in April 2014.  She quickly became a very loved member of our family.  She gets along beautifully with our other golden, Annie.  She has graduated from both puppy socialization class and beginning obedience class, both of which she passed with flying colors.  She is a wonderful dog that always aims to please.  We couldn't be happier with our newest fur baby!  Thank you again for allowing us to adopt such a beautiful dog!  I am attaching a picture that I just took today, Emma is on the left, Annie is on the right.
