Hello Everyone! Miss W here sending in a final update.
I am officially adopted and have been in my new home for a week now. My new brother Jack is quickly becoming my best friend! I have even taken over his spot on the bed with mom and dad!
I have a few thank-yous to say. First and foremost, to those brave people working so hard to shut down puppy mills and for our rescuers from those organizations along with the Animal Humane Society. Without you, I shudder to think what my fate would have been this harsh winter, along with all of the other dogs rescued with me, like RaeLynne 13-338.
Secondly, to RAGOM for stepping up to help us make the transition to living in a home and learning how to be a "dog," to finding me a forever home with a loving family. My life is forever changed for the better!
To the wonderful Dr. R, who performed bilateral denervation surgery with HA injections to help me feel better and want to play.
I owe a lot of my growth to my foster sisters, foster cousins, RaeLynne 13-338, Nicole 13-352 and her puppies JJ 13-375 to Winston 13-382, and the pack at The Ranch. I was a wallflower for a long time, but I finally figured it out and now thoroughly enjoy a good game of chase!
Me and my best friend Nicole 13-352. I am covering her with my love this night that she had surgery and was not feeling very good.
I also learned that people are a good thing. I owe many thanks to all of the people that came to spend time helping with the puppies and gave me extra time and attention as well. And a super big hug and kiss to Uncle Chip, whose given name is Whitney, and whom I am named after. He was always there for me at lunchtime making me feel loved. Another lunch buddy was Amy and I send you a big hug and kiss too!
Here is me and my new family on adoption day! Sorry, the sun was in Jack's eyes.
And a couple of me in my new home.
Thank you so much for following my journey to a new life. All of your prayers and your support of RAGOM make a huge difference for the needy dogs in rescue!
Love to all,
Whitney, Miss W.
