Molly 04-304

Profile

Molly and Timber have arrived safely at our home. Molly appears to be extremely gentle and just a sweetheart. Timber at first seemed to be somewhat aggressive with Scott, showing all of his pearly whites, but I worked with him for a bit and he seems to be just fine. The owner that surrendered them was extremely sad to see them go. The dogs appear to be well adjusted and have been very well cared for. We were given all of their health records. Molly may be somewhat over weight, but not too bad. We have had them inside the house for an hour and they seem to have adjusted very well. The owner had stated that these dogs are house dogs, and by all indications they seem to be doing very well for the short time we have had them. We will see how their first night goes, and will give an update tomorrow.

Okay, everyone.... Here's the scoop...Timber and I are a package deal! We have decided to tell you a bit more about ourselves. I (Molly) am a very shy girl, I depend on Timber probably more than I should; But the two of us have been through alot and he has never ever let me down, he plays with me; but most of all, sees to it that no one will hurt me. He is the most polite when I want to play fetch (which, by the way is all the time) he'll just watch and let me chase the ball 'til my heart is content. He really treats me like a gentleman. I walk fairly well on a leash, and I'm getting better at it; for the most part, I ride fairly well in a car. We sleep beside our foster parent's bed all night and never, ever bother them. I have one peculiar habit and that is when I eat my dog food, I lay down; I guess maybe, I'm kind of lazy. One more thing, my previous owner had cats and the two of us do okay around them.

Now for Timber... I have ALOT of energy; my current fosters do not have a vey big yard, so if you decide to adopt the two of us, we will need a family that has energy and a big fenced back yard, or lots of room to roam. Actually, even though I like to give Molly the impression that I'm the "tough" guy, I'm probably more mushy then she is. I love getting petted and scratched; thank goodness I have finally trained my fosters to this quite frequently. If I must say so myself, I'm very smart and listen well. I have had some obeidience training, and it shows. But I need exercise and long walks. Because we have been through some tough times this past year , we probably need a bit more socialization. We just want to be loved like we were with our original mom. We have expereinced the "Golden Life", and yes it is very good. Please find it in your heart to give that life back to us.

All the unconditional love we can give,
Molly & Timber
