Abby 18-067

Profile

Meet Abby! She is a 2-year-old purebred Golden sweetheart who loves kids and playing ball! Abby’s previous family had to make a very hard decision related to allergies. Abby knows how to sit and come, and she is fully housebroken and kennel trained -- what a dream! Abby also thinks that chasing cats is very fun, as she has a high prey drive. Abby will need some obedience training to learn how to walk on a leash nicely -- she is very strong! The vet had only wonderful things to say about Abby’s perfect health, and Abby was happy to roll over for a belly rub from the vet techs. She is up to date on all of her vaccinations and has already been spayed. Abby is the typical loving Golden who loves to meet new people and other dogs!

Abby and her new family are a match made in heaven! Abby will enjoy long walks, a fenced yard, time with grandkids, as well as swimming at the cabin. She is a sweet, loving girl who will be an amazing addition to this Golden-loving family.

Abby is doing very well in our home. She LOVES to play with toys and our resident dog. Abby has been chasing the cat, but if she catches up to him, she does not try to hurt him.

She respects baby gates and is still working on walking nicely on a leash. What a sweet girl!

Abby loves to be outside! She often pulls me toward our garage because she loves going for car rides.

Abby did very well at the vet - she walked right up on the scale and sat down! When we were in the exam room, she rolled over on her back for tummy rubs. The vet said she is in great health, but could likely lose a couple of pounds.

Abby has obviously had a wonderful life before coming to RAGOM, as she is very healthy and well socialized. She loves other dogs and all kinds of people, young and old.

With some basic obedience training, she will do very well walking on a leash. She has not had a single accident in our home, and does very well in her kennel at night or if we are away. This girl is a gem!
