Rosa has some really good news—she found her forever family!
Her new name is Kona. Here are photos of her when her Mom picked her up and after a week in her new home with her new BFF sister. We wish you all the very, very best!

Rosa and her littermate Rainey 18-103 are 8-week-old purebred female Golden Retriever puppies. They were found under a trailer with their underweight nursing mom a week ago.
Rosa is happy and fun-loving; you'd never know she was homeless. She is spayed, current on vaccines and preventatives, and she has been wormed. She is a healthy, happy puppy.
When Rosa first got here she had a lot more energy than her sister Rainey, and she was always trying to get her going. We nicknamed her the "Party Girl," because she is always up for some excitement.
She loves to explore, and typically when the two pups are playing in the yard she is the one in the lead with Rainey is faithfully following her. I think she'll do best in a home with a family who likes to get out and about so she can meet other people and dogs and get lots of exposure to new things.
She is such a little gem. She can't wait to get into her very own forever home.
