Profile

Tasha came to RAGOM from a commercial breeding facility. She is cautious in new situations but in time becomes comfortable and playful. Potty training is a work in progress right now as Tasha learns to signal her need to go out. Tasha likes rearranging clothes that are laid out and likes shoelaces too. Tasha requires a confident dog to help her feel comfortable and because of her background, she requires a physical fence for safety.  Tasha can be unsure of noisy activity, so children must be age 10+.

To understand why RAGOM will adhere to our requirements for Tasha regarding children and another dog, please read about Retired Breeding Dogs.

Welcome to the RAGOM family Tasha. This beautiful 2-year-old golden girl should have been named Snuggles. She loves to snuggle and enjoys being pet whenever she can.

She was born and raised in a breeding facility so she approaches most situations with caution, but once she is comfortable in her environment, Tasha loves to play and have fun with all family members. She plays with her foster brother and sister wonderfully. She loves to romp in the snow but then comes back in and wants Foster Mom to sit and pet her.

We are working on potty training. She hasn’t figured out when to let us know she has to go. We are one step closer though, as she does go to the door to go out, so it shouldn’t be too long now until she figures it out.

Tasha does like to help me when I am getting dressed in the morning by trying to steal my clothes that I have laid out on the bed. She also loves laces on tennis shoes.

Tasha does need a confident dog to make her feel comfortable. She has her spay appointment this week and then she will be ready to make someone a wonderful fur baby.

If you are interested in a dog that will snuggle with you, you may have found your new family member.
