Champ found his home with another senior gal, Bonnie, whom he now calls his friend. Champ is enjoying playing at the dog park and enjoys meeting new friends.
He is settling into his new home and adjusting quite well for a senior boy. He loves scratches, kisses and hugs and has already made his way into the hearts of his new mom and dad.
Champ is feeling great these days and has increasing amounts of energy that have even re-energized Bonnie at ten years old. Champ is grateful and happy to have become a RAGOM boy for life!

Thank you for reading my bio! My name is Champ and I was found in a suburb. Sadly, I spent some time waiting for my family to claim me, but eventually I ended up with RAGOM.
In my old life, my fur was shaved, but my beautiful coat is coming back nicely. I’m looking more and more like a big giant teddy bear with each passing day. I was a little under the weather when I first got to my foster family because I had a small issue with a low thyroid. Doc gave me some meds I take morning and night. Since foster mom got me all fixed up at the vet, I am feeling as good as ever!
My foster mom, dad, and three brothers love me! Maybe it’s because I get along great with my foster sister Lucy who is a Golden Retriever just like me! We love to chew our tennis balls together side by side in the living room each night. In fact, we do everything together.
I love to take walks, if they’re short, since I am 9 years young. I love to give long sweet hugs, and am happy with any small amount of attention I’m given. I most certainly don’t chew, counter surf, have accidents, bark, or growl at any of the people in my house. I’m just happy to have a warm place to lay my head at night.
I’d also like to think that my good habits are rubbing off on my foster sister. She’s the one who breaks all the rules. My foster mom is constantly telling me about how I’m such good boy and how my foster sister should be more like me. I think I set a pretty good example and am the poster dog for great behavior.
I’m looking for my furever home…for the people that will love me as I live out whatever days or years that I have left. I am sweet, well behaved and ask for very little. I am fairly quick to adapt to new situations and others well. I hope you will consider learning more about me so I can find my furever family soon!
