Hi my name is Cujo and I must say I’m a gorgeous 1 year old Pure Bred Golden Retriever.  I currently weigh 66 lbs. I’m microchipped and have no health issues.  I need to get my booster shot and then neutered early in April. I lived with babies and toddlers and was very gentle with them. I love all people, love other dogs, but I’ve has never seen a cat.  I’m housetrained, crate-trained, knows basic obedience and boundary trained - I never run away.  I’m very laid-back and mellow.

I love the water and even baths!

I like to stick my head and paws into the shower. Twice a day I wash my face and paws.   Why not--a clean dog is a happy dog! I enjoy hanging out with my foster family and spend a lot of time playing with my fur sister Bella. I’m learning how to play fetch and what toys are all about. I just love Nylabones!!! I don’t get on furniture and I do respect   baby gates. I’m a little afraid to get into a car so Foster Mom has to lift me into her car but once I’m in I just take in all the scenery and enjoy the ride. My Foster Mom says I have the best looking smile.   Although my name sounds like I’m a tough guy I’m really a very happy, gentle and sensitive guy and am looking for a family that will love me with all their heart—I will do the same!

We're finally updating his page, but we've already been enjoying every moment of having Cujo for almost two years now! He's turned out to be a mellow lap dog (despite his size) and enjoys romps around the yard with the kids in our house and his best doggy friend next door, Ollie. He is the best dog in the world for our family, and we are so thankful that RAGOM brought us together!

Love,

The H Family

Hey folks, Cujo here. you'll never guess what happened to me this week. My sister Bella taught me all about tennis balls. Wow, they are great!!!

You think that's great---I have een better news. I met my forever family last night and can't wait to be with them! I'm so happy!

Hi folks Cujo here

I got to spend the day at the lake with my foster family! Wow, did I have fun! I played with my sister Bella all day...and I got a little dirty. Can you tell the difference? Needless to say Bella and I had to take baths when we got home.

I need to tell you a few more things about myself. I’m a sensitive guy and if you raise your   voice I will cower and pee even if it’s not directed at me. Bella got in trouble the other day and mom raised her voice and--you guessed it--I didn’t mean to. So now I’m training—isn’t that funny!

Speaking of training---I need to work on my leash skills (a lot). Mom calls me a firecracker on a string. To be honest I’ve never been on a leash. So now that the weather has turned warmer it’s practice, practice and more practice so I can master the leash walking.

Last, but the most important thing is that I get to go to my first Meet and Greet. Not sure what that is but mom tells me that people will be petting me and giving me treats! I’m ready for that! So, mark your calendars forSaturday, March 14 in Rochester, MN. I can’t wait to see you!
