Hi! It’s me, Sadie!

Over the past few weeks I have been loving life with my foster mom. It’s been the best getting to play with new toys, chew on some yummy bones, take long walks, and snuggle up for cozy naps.

I’ve been readjusting to life in a home, but I’ve made it clear that I was previously house trained. I have not barked once, even when the doorbell rings. I don’t jump up on people, I just politely wag my tail to show everyone how excited I get!

And most importantly, I don’t chew on anything that isn’t mine (although chewing on a good bone is one of my most favorite things).

I love being outside and love going for walks. I am currently learning how to walk slowly on a leash and not pull as much, but my foster mom tells me I am improving.

When my foster mom is gone, I get to roam freely around the house and choose my favorite places to nap—often on the couch or an empty bed. But when she’s home I am very good at only jumping up on the furniture if invited. I am great at letting her know when I need to go outside and have had zero accidents.

I love it when I get to go for car rides and meet new friends. Sometimes it takes me a bit to calm down in a new environment, but eventually I settle in. I love meeting new humans and will give warm kisses to everyone from babies to grandparents.

I also do well around other dogs, but really show no interest in them. I’m not aggressive in any way but usually just walk away and mind my own business. So although I don't mind meeting other dogs, I truly don't need to be around them and would be most comfortable as an only dog in my forever home. 

My foster mom tells me every day how sweet I am and how I am such a good girl. I cannot wait to find my forever home!
