This is Handsome Sam. Sam is a male pure bred between 1 and 2 years of age. He is very affectionate, loves attention and eager to please. Who doesn't want that in a man? Sam knows 'sit' and we have already been working on 'lay down'. It is very difficult to get a good picture of him because he is always following me around. I just got him tonight and he is fitting into my household well. I also have Peggy 07-650 and Resident Dog.I will write again as I get to know this beautiful boy better.

Our hearts are broken! On August 9th, 2013 we helped our beloved Sam (08-107) cross the Rainbow Bridge.

We had noticed that Sam was not eating, he seemed tired and just not himself. On Monday 8/5/2013 we took him to the vet where it was determined that Sam had a tumor on the spleen that possible spread to the liver. Hoping for a miracle we took him to the U of MN, but the doctors there only confirmed the initial diagnosis. During 3 days, Sam's health declined rapidly, he was not able to get up anymore and we knew it was time to let him go.

We miss Sam and will never forget this sweet boy.

Hi,

I am Sam (08-107) and I turned 4 on Friday.  My family had a small party for me with lots of treats!!  Sorry for not writing more often, but I am really busy living the GReat live.  My furry sister Maxi and I have a lot of fun together and then when my other two sisters come home from school I have to spend some time with them, too. I am really tired at the end of the day as you can see on the third photo.

Anyway thanks RAGOM for being there for me when I was not doing well.  You guys are the best!!!

Sam continues to settle in.  He is a very easy foster with no real behavior issues.  We absolutely adore him. 
 
Sam appears to not care much for small dogs so I am guessing he wouldn't be good with cats.  We haven't checked the cat thing out however because fur brother Chopper definitely is not feline friendly.

These pictures are Sam and Peggy 07-650 clearing my shrubs of birds. Oh, did these two have fun. Sam LOVES being outside and kinda loses it when he plays outside. He's crazy! But he is incredibly calm inside the house. He does not jump on furniture or counter surf. He does walk around alot, almost pacing. He will circle my coffee table seven or eight times before he finally lays down. He is a goofy, beautiful boy!
