Miss Bella will be renamed Malina (pronounced Ma-Lean-a), which means raspberry in polish. A pretty name for a pretty girl. She is still such a little sweetie. She has claimed the title of alpha of the puppies. It was between her and Gia, but I think Malina has won. But she is still a champion snuggler and tries to climb into my arms when she is sleepy and I am sitting with the puppies. When they all start to fall asleep after we have been playing outside we will bring them inside to their pen, and when you pick up Malina she will stretch out her head so it is resting on your shoulder. I think she would be very content to stay there and sleep away. There is nothing like a sleepy puppy in your arms.
We weighed the puppies on Sunday the 14th when they turned 8 weeks old and Malina came in at 8.6lbs. That makes her the 3rd smallest puppy (littlest – 7.4lbs, biggest – 10.6lbs). She doesn’t think she is tiny and is very playful. Malina leads the charge in tug-a-war and is always up for a good game of chase and tag. She is one of the best at keep-a-way. The puppies are all starting to find their voices and she is no exception.
Malina was spayed on the 17th and picked up by her new family on the 19th where she will continue her recovery. She is in a for a life time of love, fun, training and agility! We wish this special little girl all the best in the world as she has won our hearts completely!
