Riggins has won over the hearts of his new family. The resident dogs and humans love him to pieces and are eager to bring him into the family as one of their own. He is a major goofball, with a TON of energy!

Best wishes to Riggins and his new forever family!

Riggins LOVES all people and other dogs, but will need some work and great training to learn needed doggie social skills. Riggins is going to be a fabulous dog!!

Riggins is a VERY active boy, and sometimes overbearing with wanting attention from the foster’s three resident dogs and from the four humans.  He is learning that he needs to sit, rather than jump, in order to receive pets from the humans.  Speaking of jumping, Riggins has the highest vertical jump I have ever seen from a dog. I am 5’9”, and when he jumps vertically, his face is at my face level.

We have a 6’ wooden privacy fence around our backyard with lattice at the top 12 inches of the fence.  When Riggins jumps vertically, he can see into the neighbor’s yard.  He is like Tigger (from Winnie the Poo), and can bounce high in place numerous times.
