Tim is such a spirited young pup and a welcomed addition to the RAGOM family. Tim, along with his mom, littermate Sebastian 17-050A, and some adult dogs, was rescued from an auction in Missouri recently and has been with us for just under a week. Tim was named in honor of an individual who donated to RAGOM so that we could purchase these dogs and make sure they found loving homes. Tim is a bold little boy, very energetic and 100% active puppy! He's almost 12 weeks old and as you can see from his picture he's a Golden Doodle with a light cream coat. He got a bath today and did very well -- and he smells 10 times better now, thankfully!
Tim in the shower Tim and his brother Sebastian sleep through the night, sharing a very large kennel. They go outside first thing in the morning (and morning is very early in their world!), have a good breakfast and then go back outside for a bit of a romp before coming back in to play with toys and watch foster mom and dad get ready for the day. His day is pretty much a repeat of all of that -- lots of going outside, playing, eating, napping, outside. Puppies are busy creatures and Tim seems to be learning fairly quickly what is expected of him although it is still all a work in progress as you'd expect with such a young guy.
Of the two puppies, Tim is the first to try something new and he really enjoys time with our resident dog Winnie. She'd like to turn him into a tug-of-war playmate and he's learning the game but not nearly strong enough to satisfy Winnie. Tim and Sebastian worship their foster dad and pretty much follow him around the house.
Tim and Sebastian are headed to the vet on Monday where they'll get a good examination and start on their vaccines. If all is well, we'll book an appointment for him to be neutered and then give him time to heal before we look for a home for him.
